OUR ONLY PROBLEM IS OUR LEADERS👴🏿👨🏿‍⚖️ Following the Headies Award where Juma, Priscilla's Husband worn the best East African artiste. Believe it or not, Nigerians were part of the people that made that possible. One thing about Nigerians is that once they are on your matter for good, you will surely win. And on the flip side when they are out to attack you, you will not survive it. To the main point, if we have such influence, why then do we always get it wrong when it comes to electing credible leaders. The answer l guess is not far fetched. Until we let go of our tribal and religious differences, political affiliations and personal bias, and embrace authenticity  we will never have credible Leaders. "Safety first, safety Always" This should be our watch word. Whatever you do be conscious of your safety and that of others. We can avoid accidents at work place, if we follow the safety protocol. WHAT SHOULD WE DO🤷 ✍️Ensure adequate light, especially at night. ✍️ When mopping dry the floor promptly or put a sign to notify people when the floor is still wet. ✍️Proper disposal of waste( Sharps in sharpbox, medical waste in medical waste bin and general waste in general waste bin) ✍️The walk way should free with adequate light. ✍️Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) ✍️ Report any electrical fault and any other defect for prompt repair. ✍️ Fire extinguishers should be placed in strategic locations. ✍️There should be a 'Muster point' in case of emergency at work. Its World Malaria Day and the Theme for this year is; " Malaria Ends with us: Reinvest, Reimagine, Reignite" We really need to reinvest in Malaria prevention and Treatment, it have been long we heard about any program on Malaria. Many are dieing from complications of Malaria on daily basis and if nothing is done, we will keep recording more deaths. WHAT CAN YOU DO 🤷‍♀️ ✍️ Keep your Environment clean, by clearing grasses around your house. ✍️ Clean the gutters to eliminate breeding sites for Mosquitoes. ✍️ Sleep under insecticide treated nets. ✍️ spray insecticides( Mosquito repellent) before sleeping in the rooms. ✍️Close doors and windows and if possible put nets on the doors and windows. ✍️ Early treatment of Malaria to prevent complications. START TALKING TO YOUR YOUNG CHILDREN  Parents really need to start advising their children once they start secondary school. Gone are those days when children were advised to go to school, pass their exams so they can get a good job. "That advice don cast"🙄 We need to tell them the situation of things, they have to go school and be educated that's right. But also tell them that graduating with first class or second class upper does not guarantee anyone employment. They need to identify their passion, learn related skill that can give them some level of financial freedom. THEME: Healthy Beginning,  Hopeful Future  For us to have a Healthy Beginning We should go 'back to the drawing board' or better still begin from the grassroots. We're tired of all these 'White Elephant projects' for safe motherhood programs. If our health centres are well equipped with free or affordable medical care, maternal and infant mortality will be reduced to the barest minimum. If the health centres, state hospital and federal hospitals are equipped with both material and human resources, our mothers can then access any of the facilities closer to them. Most of these things are not 'rocket science ' there are things that be  done if we really want to. SIBLINGS RIVALRY WHAT COULD BE THE CAUSE 🤷‍♀️ Today is World Siblings Day, how close are you to your siblings? 🤔 We have siblings who are arch enemies, they relate more with other people than their siblings. There may different reasons for this attitude, but I feel need more of  solution than dwelling more on events surrounding it. Most siblings rivalry starts from childhood and if it's not corrected the children take it to adulthood.
