 WHAT DO I DO WITH THESE CHILDREN 🤷

Having children around can be so great,but taking care of them can be so tasking, but in all we do, we should ensure safety first.

With the recent death of Davido's son l feel it will be nice to put down some ways we can care for our children to prevent accident or death.

TOYS

 When buying toys for your children especially toddlers, do not buy small size toys that they easily put in their mouth or swallow.

CRAWLING

When children starts crawling ensure you lock the rooms you don't want them to enter( toilet, bathroom, kitchen etc)

WRITING

Once your child start writing whether legibly or not, keep all important document out of their reach also keep anything they can write with away from them like (pen, pencil, marker, crayon, eye pencil, eye liner etc)

Before they redesign your certificate.🥴

WALKING

When they start walking ensure there's an adult to guide them, or allow them walk around a place that is safe for them.

If you have swimming pool, fish pond, wells put a barricade around those places so the child cannot have access to those places.

COOKING

While cooking the children should not be in the kitchen but if you must have them in the kitchen strap them on your back or on a chair. 

HOT WATER

If you don't have heater in your house and must boil water, do not pour hot water in your bucket to go and get cold water to miss.

As a rule pour cold water first before hot water, that few minutes you want to go and get cold water may be the time your little child will decide to wash his or her hand or body.

ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

All electrical gadgets and appliances should be kept where the children cannot access.

DRUGS

All medicines should be kept out of the reach of children, whether injection, tablet or herbal concoctions.

DRINKS

Children should not have access to drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, if possible lock your fridge or places where drinks are kept because if they drink they may injure themselves with the bottles.

OTHER ITEMS

Fuel, kerosene, diesel, any other chemical, cream, relaxer makeup etc should be kept away from them.

     CONCLUSION

Is not always very easy to care for children but we can at least try our best and do our bit.

Children can come up with a lot of things that we can't imagine, when there's close monitoring we will be sure to observe when they are up to something.

Just do your best and leave the rest for God.
