YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS

Caring for children is one of the most demanding task but we still have to care for them.

When children are born, their immunity is not strong like that of the adult, that is why we need to take good care of them.

There are some practice that can help the children to live in good health.

BEST PRACTICES FOR CHILD CARE

ON BREASTFEEDING:

๐Ÿ‘‰ for breastfeeding mothers, ensure you wash your hands before breastfeeding

๐Ÿ‘‰ If you are sweating, you should bath before breastfeeding or wash the breast at least

WHEN CARRYING THE BABY :

๐Ÿ‘‰We should ensure our hands are clean before carrying babies

๐Ÿ‘‰ Visitors who visits the baby should wash or sanitize their hands before carrying the babies

ON DISINFECTION:

๐Ÿ‘‰ Babies utensils should be disinfected after washing

๐Ÿ‘‰The floors where they crawl or play should also be disinfected

๐Ÿ‘‰Toys, pacifier and other items used by the children should be cleaned always

ON IMMUNIZATION:

๐Ÿ‘‰ Immunization is not optional but compulsory for every child if you want them to be healthy

ON CAREGIVERS:

๐Ÿ‘‰ Caregivers should be screened before they are allowed to take care of the babies

ON FOOD PREPARATION:

๐Ÿ‘‰For other foods, they should be prepared in a hygienic environment

๐Ÿ‘‰ Fluid, semi solid or mashed food should be given, after babies are weaned

Children are precious gift from God and we owe them that duty of care, it may not be easy taking care of them but we have to do what we ought to do so they can live a healthy life.
