Searching for answers

Looking for direction 

Wandering in disbelief 

Gathering momentum 


The journey of a thousand mile

Just beginning 

Moving with speed

Pausing to rest


Wondering if it's worth the chase

Racing to reach the end

Pondering on what to do

Thinking about what lies ahead 


Our lives like a shadow 

Leaving us in the dark 

The whispers at night 

The cool breeze all around 


Why is the light looking so far

Why are we struggling to reach it

The leg arches the eyes growing weak 

The heart beating so fast 


But we refuse to give up 

We refuse to stop

We will not relent 

Because we have a goal 


At last the light 

At last the end

The solution 

The result 


We have all waited 

We anticipated 

And it was worth every bit of the journey 

We made it 


So even when the journey seems far

Even if there are no glimpse of light 

Keep moving until you reach the end 

Because there's light at the end of the tunnel 


NEVER GIVE UP!

Some may ask why will they be rushing and  struggling to get palliative to the extent of losing their lives. For the records a bag of rice is above 100k and minimum wage is not up to 100k, so how many persons can afford a bag of rice in this present economy? THE JOURNEY SO FAR... In the past two days protesters were seen across the different states in Nigeria, each voicing their grievances against the Government. The protest was supposed to be a peaceful one, but some persons are bent on turning it into a war and a period of anarchy. Parents should instruct their children to be careful because the country will not remember or recognize their efforts if they die in the process. Many has died in the process, others injured, some properties destroyed. While we walk and demonstrate and pray for a better Nigeria, we should also thread with caution because life has no duplicate. WE ARE IN TROUBLE 😳

WE REALLY NEED HELP I saw a clip someone posted on Facebook of a burning house. So in the video people were seen praying for God to come down and quench 🧯 the fire. And l was wondering 🤔 Is that all the passersby could do? No one amongst them know at least the basic things to when there's fire outbreak. Can't they pray while they try to put out the fire, and if l should ask what the prayer was supposed to do for them without any action, many religious fanatics will begin to attack me. Granted we need to pray in situations like this, but standing to pray without doing anything is as ineffective as not praying at all. We need to brace up, A lot of things are going wrong, because we chose to pray alone without doing something.
