IT'S DRY SEASON AGAIN, BE CAREFUL!🧏

DON'T BE CARELESS



During the dry season, the risk of fire outbreaks increases due to dry vegetation, low humidity, and strong winds. 


HERE ARE SOME BASIC MEASURES TO AVOID FIRE OUTBREAKS:


1. FIRE PREVENTION MEASURES AT HOME 


✍️Avoid open flames: Do not burn trash, dry leaves, or vegetation outdoors during the dry season.


✍️Proper storage of flammable materials: Keep flammable liquids like petrol, kerosene, or alcohol in tightly sealed containers away from heat sources.


✍️Inspect electrical appliances and wiring: Fix faulty or exposed wiring promptly, as they can easily ignite during the dry season.


✍️If possible Install smoke detectors: Ensure smoke detectors are functional and test them regularly.



2. YARD AND OUTDOOR MAINTENANCE 


✍️Clear dry vegetation: Regularly remove dry leaves, grass, and debris from your yard to reduce fuel for fires.


✍️Create a firebreak: If you live in an area prone to wildfires, create a gap (firebreak) between your home and flammable vegetation.


✍️Avoid outdoor fires: Refrain from lighting campfires or using outdoor grills in windy conditions.



3. COMMUNITY PRACTICE:


✍️Avoid indiscriminate bush burning: Discourage or report anyone starting fires in forests, farmlands, or open areas.


✍️Educate others: Spread awareness about fire safety during the dry season in your community.


✍️Participate in fire drills: Learn fire evacuation procedures and practice fire drills if organized.



4. EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS 


✍️Keep firefighting tools ready: 


👉 Have fire extinguishers, 


👉Buckets of sand


👉And water in easily accessible locations.


Nobody is praying for any form of fire outbreak.


However we need to do our bit to protect our environment lives and properties.


The effect of fire outbreak can be devastating, so we need to the needful.

I WEEP FOR NIGERIA 😥

I WEEP FOR MY NATION😭 In just few days we have recorded more than 50  deaths resulting from stamped. In all of these death, the cause was same. Some may ask why will they be rushing and  struggling to get palliative to the extent of losing their lives. For the records a bag of rice is above 100k and minimum wage is not up to 100k, so how many persons can afford a bag of rice in this present economy? Nigeria we hail thee🙋 As a weep for the deceased😢 And sympathize with their families.😟 I want to plead with all our philanthropist, NGOs, religious group who  may want to help in this critical time. Get people to organize it well for you, this is no longer business as usual, if about 50 persons were part of the previous year's giveaway, for this year expect over 300 persons because times are hard. THE JOURNEY SO FAR... In the past two days protesters were seen across the different states in Nigeria, each voicing their grievances against the Government. The protest was supposed to be a peaceful one, but some persons are bent on turning it into a war and a period of anarchy. Parents should instruct their children to be careful because the country will not remember or recognize their efforts if they die in the process. Many has died in the process, others injured, some properties destroyed. While we walk and demonstrate and pray for a better Nigeria, we should also thread with caution because life has no duplicate.
