Caring for the elderly can be both tasking and fun, it all depends on the persons you caring for and the country you are.

Elderly people are faced with challenges ranging from ill health, psychology problems and other personal problems.

HOW CAN YOU HELP THEM ?

Caring for an elderly person in Nigeria can be challenging especially when, there are no funds.

The elderly ones need good nutrition, medical care and psychological care, but without funds, some of these things cannot be achieved.

Other things are the basic need and assisting them with activities of daily living.

Caring for the Elderly ABROAD;

Unlike many African countries, in countries like Us, UK or Canada the government provides most of the basic needs of the elderly which makes taking care a little more easier than in some African countries.

However for you to comfortably care for the elderly abroad, you need the following.

✍️You need to be patient with them.

✍️You to be tolerant because some of their attitude will not make sense to you.

✍️you need to very careful with what you say or do because they can sue you for things you consider unnecessary.

There are lots of things to consider when caring for the elderly, you need to brace yourself for the task ahead if it what you have chosen to do.

It may not be very easy but it is possible, do your best at all times and in whatever you do remember you will grow old some day.
