We are now in the 21st century and I feel some things need to be modified.


I believe in culture and traditions but we can arrange things to suit us now and not our ancestors.


They have laid the foundation, so we can work with that and make it comfortable for us.


Most of the marriage list we still use now were the ones written by our ancestors, I am just concerned that the things they love then may not entice us now.


Based on the above, I think the marriage list should have the following.


IDEAL MARRIAGE LIST FOR 21ST CENTURY BRIDE👩‍🦱 


- Replace schnapps with drinks like;😚

✍️Four cousins


- Replace small stout with;🤨


✍️Heinekien

✍️ Smirnoff

✍️ Budweiser

✍️Trophy


Replace palm wine with;😜


✍️ cocktails

✍️fresh juice

✍️ smoothies


The bags of rice can be replaced with


✍️ spaghetti

✍️ Noodles

✍️ Macaroni 


The wrappers can be replaced with


✍️Lace

✍️Velvet

✍️Sequin

✍️Gele

✍️ turban

✍️fascinator

✍️Ball gown


-Then for the cash gift;


✍️This one should be paid in dollars, since the price of everything in Nigeria is determined by dollar. Or in any other preferred currency.


THEN THINGS FOR THE BRIDE SHOULD INCLUDE (Depending on the bride's preference)


✍️ Beautiful gowns with matching purse and shoe.


✍️makeup kit


✍️ Human hair wigs( different colors, weavy, straight and curled)


✍️Box of lingerie😉


✍️Box of jewelry


✍️ Other Accessories 


✍️ pizza

✍️ Shawarma

✍️ Chicken pie


For the remaining items, we will try and see what we do about them, but for now we can make do with what we have above.🥰

TREAT AS URGENT 😟 The super eagles will be playing their final match with Ivory coast on Sunday and many of are already excited about the match. We don't want a repeat of what happened during the semi finals. Three persons slumped and died while watching the match.😳 Please if you know your level of anxiety is high that you cannot watch the finals, please don't bother watching it.
