BREAST CANCER IN MEN 😳

IS IT POSSIBLE 🙄

Yesterday 4th February was 'world Cancer Day'

Some of us are familiar with the different Cancer that we have, both in men and women and in both.

However people find it difficult to believe that breast cancer can occur in men.

Inasmuch as the rate of occurrence is low in men, but men do have breast cancer.

So for men if you notice these signs, know you may be having breast cancer;

✍️Lump in the breast

✍️ Thickening of breast tissue

✍️Dimpling of the area around the breast

✍️Change in shape of the breast and nipple

✍️A discharge from the nipple

✍️Painful area in the breast

✍️Enlarge lymph nodes in the armpit.

You don't necessarily need to experience all of these for you to suspect breast cancer, you can notice like two, three, or four of these signs.

Ultrasound scan of the breast will be a better way to confirm the diagnosis.

Early treatment is key, do not wait until the cancer start spreading to other part of the body before you visit the hospital.

Yes! breast cancer in men is possible and can be treated.
