  ECLIPSE OF THE MIND.🌚



The road to nowhere,

The chant of solidarity,

The noise of charlatans,

The fuzz in the city,

The journey unending.


How do we decipher this,

Some are undisturbed,

Not concerned,

But all perplexed.


Who shall speak,

Who will move,

Who will step forward, 

Who will advocate.

The light is fading,

The night is coming.


The "die is cast"

The view is now clear,

The road widening,

The sky blue,

The grass green.


Which way do we go,

Left or right,

Front or back,

We deny the existence of the problem but face the consequences thereof.


Our Nation in  shambles

Our state in Anarchy

Our homes in turmoil

No laughter

No joy

No celebration


Like the noiseless graveyard,

Like the empty sepulchral,

It all look like the end.


But we have decided to live each as our last,

To seize the day,

To live for the moment,

And to hope for the best.


We are tired.....


But what can we do🤷

We don't want a repeat of what happened during the semi finals. Three persons slumped and died while watching the match.😳 Please if you know your level of anxiety is high that you cannot watch the finals, please don't bother watching it. You can see a movie or play video games or better still sleep during the match. You can ask of the score line when you Wake or tell someone to wake you up once the game is over.
