STROKE IS A MEDICAL CONDITION🤥🤯

IT'S NOT CAUSED BY VILLAGE PEOPLE/ENEMIES

It still beat my imagination that even in this 21st century some persons believe that stroke is caused by wicked people.

How do I dissect this 🤔

Let me begin with the definition;

STROKE

Stroke occurs when something blocks blood supply to a part of the brain or when blood vessels in the brain burst.

WHAT CAN LEAD TO STROKE

- Uncontrolled high blood pressure.

- Over treatment with blood thinners (anticoagulants)

- Trauma ( such as road accident)

- Bulges at weak spots in the blood vessel.

- protein deposit in the wall of the blood vessel that leads to weakness of the blood vessel.

RISK FACTORS 

- AGE; common among older people (55 years and above)

- FAMILY HISTORY;

 If a member of your family had stroke, there's a possibility that other members of your family can still have stroke.

-SEX; Men have a higher risk to develop stroke than women.

-HORMONES; 

Use of hormonal pills or hormone therapies that include oestrogen increases risk

TREATMENT

Early treatment is the surest way to manage stroke effectively.

- Brain CT scan is very important in the management of stroke to differentiate if it is caused by blockage or blood burst.

- Do not go to a maternity or a hospitals without a specialist for stroke management.

- Management of stroke takes time so you have to be patient.

-Adhere to the treatment regimen.

- comply and cooperate with the medical team for effective management.

NOTE!!!

-Do not take a stroke patient to the church, take him/her to the hospital then invite the priest/pastor to pray.

- Do not take a stroke patient to a traditional bone setters. In stroke patient need physiotherapy and not bone setting.

CONCLUSION

Most disease we attribute to wicked people are medical conditions that can be managed, let's not die of treatable disease.

Always ask a professional when you are confused.
