HOW TO PREPARE 'ABACHA' LIKE A PRO🍲



'ABACHA' is one of the Nigeria delicacies enjoyed mostly by People from the eastern part of Nigeria.

WHAT YOU NEED


✍️ Abacha

✍️Red oil

✍️onions

✍️Cryfish

✍️Ugba

✍️ogiri( locust bean) 

✍️seasoning

✍️Ghana pepper

✍️salt

✍️ stockfish

✍️Ice fish

✍️Pomo

✍️ catfish

✍️utasi

✍️ Garden egg


METHOD


-You can either fry the oil or whisk it for those that don't have what to use to thicken the oil.


-You can also use ash or palm tree extract for the thickening.


-Add your sliced onions.


-Add Cryfish


-Add seasoning


-Add ogiri( locust bean)


-Add Ugba


-Add the Abacha, which should be immersed in warm water to soften it.


-Add pepper


-Add salt


-Mix everything together


-Add garden egg


-Add Ugba again


-Garnish with utasi and onions


-Add Pomo, fried fish, Ice fish 


-Serve with chilled 😄🍲palm wine, 🥛red wine 🍷 or any other drink🍹
