READ AND SHARE

There are basic things we need to know to help save people in cases of accident, drowning, fire outbreak and other emergency situation.

The main management is usually for the medical personnel, but Incase of emergency, we need to help the victim before help comes.

WHAT SHOULD I DO 🤷‍♀️

someone has drowned, it's crucial to act quickly and safely. Here are the key steps for first aid treatment:

✍️ ENSURE SAFETY: Make sure the area is safe for both you and the victim before attempting a rescue.

✍️ REMOVE FROM WATER: Get the person out of the water as quickly as possible, but do so safely. Avoid putting yourself in danger.

✍️CHECK FOR RESPONSIVENESS: Tap the person's shoulder and shout their name to see if they respond.

✍️TURN THE PERSON TO HIS/HER SIDE to see if some of the water can be drained because some of the water may still be in the stomach.

If it's a child, turn the child upside down to drain water from the nose and stomach.

✍️ TAP THE PERSON AGAIN If there's no response, the person may be unconscious and in need of immediate CPR.

✍️ CALL FOR HELP: If you're alone, call emergency services (911 or your local emergency number) immediately. If there are bystanders, direct someone to call while you begin CPR.

✍️ PERFORM CPR: If the person is not breathing or doesn't have a pulse, begin CPR. Follow the steps for CPR, including chest compressions and rescue breaths, until help arrives or the person starts breathing again.

✍️CHECK REGULARLY if the person has started breathing while waiting for help to arrive.

✍️KEEP THE PERSON WARM: Cover the person with a blanket or jacket or any dry cloth available to prevent cold.

🧏REMEMBER, CPR should only be performed by someone who is trained and certified in CPR techniques. If you're not trained, focus on calling for help and providing support until professional assistance arrives.

✍️WHEN HELP ARRIVES: Never leave until help arrives, when help arrives, assist and transfer the victim to an ambulance.

You can help the paramedics with informations like;

👆When the incident happened.

👆What you have done so far.

In any emergency situation there's usually this anxiety and panic, but we should always try to calm down so we can clearly think of what we can do to help.

Please let's STOP this trend of videoing and snapping in emergency situation, leave that work for the press and do something to help, it can be anyone, no one is immune to emergency.

May the soul of junior pope and all those that drowned in that river continue to rest in peace.🙏

Please share this information.....
