WHETHER YOUNG OR OLD👧🧔
There are lots of things to teach children while growing up, like basic etiquette, how to do house chores, cleanliness etc.
When they learn all of these as a child they will grow with the habits and behaviors.
A lady was quarreling with her landlady because she asked her not to throw her thrash in the gutter Infront of her house.
The lady was like 'is it her business? What's her business with where i throw my thrash.
At that point the little home training in me, understood that she was not schooled on that.
For me and my siblings and other of our relatives that stayed with us, my mum has a way of dropping those basic information on a regular🥰
LET ME DROP A FEW(you can add yours)
✍️Greet your elders.
✍️Do not throw anything from upstairs to downstairs.
✍️Do not urinate from upstairs to downstairs.
✍️When you are in a car do not throw something out of the car window.
✍️ Do not throw things on the road.
✍️Do not eat on the road.
✍️ Do not throw things in the gutter.
✍️When you want to go and dispose of the refuse from the house wrap it very well.
✍️Do not look for trouble.
✍️ Do not eat in other people house.
✍️Every rule from my dad stands whether she is in support of the rule or not.
✍️ you don't stay out late unless you went for a church program. (especially for the females)

No be small thing, the importance of home training can not be over emphasized, it indeed reflects on the character, morals and behavior of individuals.
ReplyDeleteIn addition to what you outlined, on my side the instructions is do not touch or take what is not yours without the permission of the owner and that really helped me while growing up and in school days because most people lack that which I may not blame them because it started from home.

ReplyDeleteThe above is not dissimilar with the pronouncement in the bible hence teach a child the ways of the Lord when he grows older he will not depart from it. The same way it is only prudential and right / responsibilities of good parents to teach their children, those basic skills. I used the good parents very carefully and advisedly and with so much caution, because you can only teach what you know or believe in.
